A positive-type image-forming material and a planographic printing plate
precursor having a recording layer composed of the material on a support.
The material includes (a) a water-insoluble, aqueous alkaline
solution-soluble polymer compound, (b) a light-heat converting agent, and
(c) a phenol including a partial structure represented by the following
formula (I). Solubility of the material in an aqueous alkaline solution is
increased upon heating. In the formula (I), X represents a monovalent
terminal group having 2 or more carbon atoms or a linking group of
--CY.sup.1 Y.sup.2 -- or --CHY.sup.1 -- in which Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.2 each
represent a monovalent terminal group having 1 or more carbon atoms, W
represents a monovalent terminal group, and n represents an integer from 1
to 4.

Eine Positivart Bild-bildenmaterial und ein planographic Druckplatte Vorläufer, der eine Aufnahmeschicht bestanden aus dem Material auf einer Unterstützung hat. Das Material schließt (a) ein wasserunlösliches, wäßriges alkalisches Lösung-lösliches Polymer-Plastik Mittel, (b) ein Licht-Hitze umwandelndes Mittel mit ein, und (c) stellte ein Phenol einschließlich eine teilweise Struktur durch die folgende Formel (i) dar. Löslichkeit des Materials in einer wäßrigen alkalischen Lösung wird nach Heizung erhöht. In der Formel (i), stellt X eine einwertige Terminalgruppe dar, die 2 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatome oder eine verbindengruppe von hat -- CY.sup.1 Y.sup.2 -- oder -- CHY.sup.1 -- in welchem Y.sup.1 und Y.sup.2 jedem eine einwertige Terminalgruppe Haben von von 1 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen darstellt, stellt W eine einwertige Terminalgruppe dar, und n stellt eine Ganzzahl von 1 bis 4 dar. ## STR1 ##
