The present invention provides a method for detecting the presence of
cytomegalovirus (CMV) in a fetal sample by determining the presence of
anti-hsp70 antibodies present in the fetal sample. The invention further
provides a method for monitoring CMV infection in a human fetus. In
another embodiment, the invention provides a method for detecting CMV in a
cord blood sample of a neonate.
Die anwesende Erfindung stellt eine Methode für das Ermitteln des Vorhandenseins des Cytomegalovirus (CMV) in einer fötalen Probe von der Bestimmung des Vorhandenseins der Antikörper anti-hsp70 zur Verfügung, die in der fötalen Probe vorhanden sind. Die weitere Erfindung stellt eine Methode für die Überwachung von von Infektion CMV in einem menschlichen Fötus zur Verfügung. In einer anderen Verkörperung stellt die Erfindung eine Methode für das Ermitteln CMV in einer Schnurblutprobe eines Neugeborenen zur Verfügung.
