The present invention provides particulate titanium oxide and a production
process thereof. The particulate titanium oxide comprises mixed crystal
titanium oxide containing rutile crystal produced by a vapor phase
process, wherein the titanium oxide has a property represented by the
following general formula
R.gtoreq.1300.times.B.sup.-0.95
(In the formula, R represents a rutile content (%) and B represents a BET
specific surface area (m.sup.2 /g)).
Die anwesende Erfindung liefert aus Einzelteilen bestehendes Titanoxyd und einen Produktion Prozeß davon. Das aus Einzelteilen bestehende Titanoxyd enthält das Mischkristalltitanoxyd, das den Rutilkristall enthält, der durch einen Dampfphase Prozeß produziert wird, worin das Titanoxyd eine Eigenschaft hat, die durch die folgende allgemeine Formel R.gtoreq.1300.times.B.sup.-0.95 dargestellt wird (in der Formel, stellt R einen Rutilinhalt (%) dar und B stellt eine WETTE spezifische Fläche (m.sup.2 /g)) dar.
