A passenger seat includes in-flight entertainment (IFE) equipment. A seat
set is mounted on a frame which is supported on a laterally-extending
beam. One or more seat electronics units are contained in housings shaped
and sized to fit in the interior of the beam and are mounted within the
beam. Cables enter the beam at appropriate locations and connect the seat
electronics units to the IFE hardware or to other aircraft circuits.
