The invention concerns a sensor allowing the concentration of a constituent
to be determined and being formed by a tongue of small dimensions
including a thin plastic substrate (1) supporting at least two current
conducting strips (4, 5) separated by a narrow insulating strip (3) of the
substrate (1), said substrate (1) and said strips (4, 5) being covered
with a plastic covering (2) into which are cut, at one end an opening (8)
allowing portions of strip (4, 5) to appear for connection to an
electronic apparatus and at the other end two windows (9a, 9b) separated
by a strip (11) of the covering (2), said windows (9a, 9b) delimiting on
the strips (4, 5) the useful surfaces of a reference electrode beneath a
first window (9b) and a measuring electrode beneath a second window (9a)
covered with a specific reactant. It is characterised in that at least the
measuring window (9a) has an oblong contour in the direction of the
tongue.
Application to a glucose sensor in which the specific reactant contains at
least glucose oxidase (GOD) and a mediator.
L'invenzione interessa un sensore permettendo che la concentrazione di un costituente sia determinata ed essendo costituendo da una linguetta di piccole dimensioni compreso un substrato di plastica sottile (1) che sostiene almeno due strisce di condotta correnti (4, 5) separato da una striscia isolante stretta (3) del substrato (1), del substrato detto (1) e delle strisce dette (4, 5) essendo coprendo di covering di plastica (2) in cui è tagliato, ad un'estremità un'apertura (8) concedendo le parti della striscia (4, 5) comparire per collegamento ad un apparecchio elettronico ed all'altra estremità due finestre (9a, 9b) hanno separato da una striscia (11) dei covering (2), finestre dette (9a, 9b) delimitanti sulle strisce (4, 5) le superfici utili di un elettrodo di riferimento sotto una prima finestra (9b) e di un elettrodo di misurazione sotto una seconda finestra (9a) coperta di reattivo specifico. È caratterizzato in quanto almeno che la finestra di misurazione (9a) ha un profilo oblungo nel senso della linguetta. Applicazione ad un sensore del glucosio in cui il reattivo specifico contiene almeno l'ossidasi di glucosio (DIO) e un mediatore.
