A system for facilitating the delivery of a liquid anesthetic agent from an
anesthetic bottle to an anesthetic vaporizer. The system includes a bottle
adapter, an anesthetic bottle and a filler arrangement positioned on the
anesthetic vaporizer. The bottle adapter and filler arrangement each
include a keyed configuration such that only the correct type of
anesthetic agent can be emptied into the anesthetic vaporizer. The bottle
adapter includes an adapter valve assembly that engages a filler valve
assembly contained within the filler. The dimensions and arrangement of
the adapter valve assembly and the filler valve assembly insure anesthetic
agent is delivered to the anesthetic vaporizer only when the anesthetic
agent can safely flow from the anesthetic bottle to the anesthetic
vaporizer.
Um sistema para facilitar a entrega de um agente anestésico líquido de um frasco anestésico a um vaporizer anestésico. O sistema inclui um adaptador do frasco, um frasco anestésico e um arranjo do enchimento posicionados no vaporizer anestésico. O arranjo cada um do adaptador e do enchimento do frasco inclui uma configuração fechada à chave tais que somente o tipo correto de agente anestésico pode ser esvaziado no vaporizer anestésico. O adaptador do frasco inclui um conjunto de válvula do adaptador que acople um conjunto de válvula do enchimento contido dentro do enchimento. As dimensões e o arranjo do conjunto de válvula do adaptador e do conjunto de válvula do enchimento seguram o agente anestésico estão entregados ao vaporizer anestésico somente quando o agente anestésico pode com segurança fluir do frasco anestésico ao vaporizer anestésico.
