A process for polymerizing ethylene is disclosed. The process uses a
catalyst system which has a supported open architecture indenoindolyl
complex. We surprisingly found that modifying the open architecture
complex to incorporate a C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 hydrocarbyl amido group enables
the production of polyethylene having good flow while maintaining high
catalyst activity.
Un procédé pour polymériser l'éthylène est révélé. Le processus emploie un système de catalyseur qui a un complexe ouvert soutenu d'indenoindolyl d'architecture. Nous avons étonnamment trouvé cela modifiant l'architecture ouverte complexe pour incorporer un C.sub.6 - le groupe amido du hydrocarbyl C.sub.20 permet la production du polyéthylène ayant le bon écoulement tout en maintenant l'activité élevée de catalyseur.
