A hub assembly for a data storage disk including a hub member and a raised
boss near a center axis of the hub member, the raised boss being
surrounded by an annular bonding surface and being configured so as to
protrude into a center hole of a data storage disk when the bonding
surface is in contact with a surface of the disk.
