The present invention provides compounds of formula I

and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
The formula I compounds induce mitotic arrest thereby making them useful as
anti-cancer agents. The formula I compounds are also useful for the
treatment of other diseases which can be treated by inducing mitotic
arrest.
La presente invenzione fornisce i residui del ## del ## STR1 di formula I e farmaceuticamente dei sali accettabili di ciò. I residui di formula I inducono l'arresto mitotic quindi che li rende utili come agenti anticancro. I residui di formula I sono inoltre utili per il trattamento di altre malattie che possono essere trattate inducendo l'arresto mitotic.
