An exposure period control device comprises a thermo sensor that senses the
temperature of an imaging device, such as a CCD. The thermo sensor faces
the rear surface of the CCD. A maximum exposure period is controlled to be
decreased as the temperature of the CCD increases. When it is supposed
that the temperature is T.degree. C., a maximum exposure period is t.sub.0
at 0.degree. C., and 7.ltoreq.Th.ltoreq.11, the maximum exposure period
t.sub.max is
t.sub.max =t.sub.0.times.(1/2).sup.T/Th
When the value of the dark current occurring in a photo-diode of the CCD
becomes excessive, the maximum exposure period of the CCD controlled to be
decreased. Therefore, the amount of the noise component occurring in a
photographed image is reduced, so that the image quality is not affected.
Eine Belichtung Periode Steuervorrichtung enthält einen thermo Sensor, der die Temperatur einer Belichtung Vorrichtung abfragt, wie ein CCD. Der thermo Sensor stellt die hintere Oberfläche des CCDS gegenüber. Eine maximale Belichtung Periode wird gesteuert, als die Temperatur der CCD Zunahmen verringert zu werden. Wenn es soll, daß die Temperatur T.degree ist. C., eine maximale Belichtung Periode ist t.sub.0 an 0.degree. C. und 7.ltoreq.Th.ltoreq.11, die maximale Belichtung Periode t.sub.max ist t.sub.max = t.sub.0.times.(1/2).sup.T/Th, wenn der Wert des Dunkelstroms, der in einer Fotodiode des CCDS auftritt, übertrieben wird, die maximale Belichtung Periode des CCDS, das gesteuert wird verringert zu werden. Folglich wird die Menge des Geräuschbestandteils, der in einem fotografierten Bild auftritt, verringert, damit die Bildqualität nicht beeinflußt wird.
