A compressor includes a housing that has cylinder bores. A swash plate
chamber communicates to the cylinder bores and a motor chamber partitioned
from the swash plate chamber. A motor is disposed in the motor chamber
actuates a drive mechanism in the swash plate chamber so as to move
pistons in the cylinder bores. The refrigerant gas is supplied to an
interior refrigerant passage of the compressor from an external
refrigerant circuit. The swash plate chamber and the motor chamber are
separated in the air tight manner. The motor chamber is connected to the
interior refrigerant passage by a refrigerant path.
