A cylinder-type heat exchanger including cells spirally wound between an
inner cylinder and an outer cylinder which are concentrically arranged.
Each cell includes a first plate and a second plate which are in contact
with each other. The first and second plates each have several inlets and
outlets arranged in parallel at opposed ends in the axial direction, with
communication portions being arranged between the inlets and between the
outlets. A first flow passage through which a first fluid flows is formed
on the confronting sides of the first plate and the second plate, while a
second flow passage through which a second fluid flows is formed on the
non-confronting sides of the first plate and the second plate.
