The present invention provides a unitary run flat tire (RFT) reinforcement
that is formed into a relatively rigid shape. The reinforcement is
insertable into a mold for an RFT support and can maintain the needed
structural rigidity for such insertion. Further, the invention provides an
RFT support that is molded and includes the RFT reinforcement. The
invention also provides a wheel assembly including a tire, a rim, and an
RFT support between the rim and the tire, where the support includes the
RFT reinforcement. The RFT support can have a colored indicator formed or
subsequently applied thereto to indicate one or more attributes of the
support.
Die anwesende Erfindung liefert eine flache Verstärkung des Gummireifens des einheitlichen Durchlaufes (RFT), die in eine verhältnismäßig steife Form gebildet wird. Die Verstärkung ist in eine Form für eine RFT Unterstützung einfügbar und kann die erforderliche strukturelle Starrheit für solche Einfügung beibehalten. Weiter gibt die Erfindung eine RFT Unterstützung, die geformt wird und schließt die RFT Verstärkung ein. Die Erfindung liefert auch ein Rad einschließlich einen Gummireifen, eine Kante und eine RFT Unterstützung zwischen der Kante und dem Gummireifen, in dem die Unterstützung die RFT Verstärkung einschließt. Die RFT Unterstützung kann eine farbige Anzeige haben, die dazu oder nachher gebildet wird angewendet ist, um eins oder mehr anzuzeigen Attribute der Unterstützung.
