An information retrieval apparatus, method and memory medium storing a
program therefor provide for storing, in a memory, identification
information of information sources to be queried, in accordance with an
information retrieval keyword, issuing inquiries to relevant information
sources, based on respective identification information thereof stored in
the memory, and updating the identification information stored in the
memory based on retrieved information from the queried information
sources. Each information source may be an information retrieval
apparatus, all thereof interconnected in a local network and/or through
the local network to a network outside of the local network.
Un milieu de matériel, de méthode et de mémoire de recherche documentaire stockant un programme prévoient pour cette fin stocker, dans une mémoire, l'information d'identification des émetteurs d'informations à questionner, selon un mot-clé de recherche documentaire, publiant des enquêtes aux émetteurs d'informations appropriés, basés sur l'information respective d'identification en stockée dans la mémoire, et mettant à jour l'information d'identification stockée dans la mémoire basée sur l'information recherchée des émetteurs d'informations questionnés. Chaque émetteur d'informations peut être un appareillage de recherche documentaire, tout en relié ensemble dans un réseau local et/ou par le réseau local à un réseau en dehors de du réseau local.
