A substrate for use of an ink jet recording head is provided with a
plurality of heat generating members for generating thermal energy to be
utilized for discharging ink. The heat generating members are structured
by thin film formed by material represented by Ta.sub.x Si.sub.y R.sub.z,
which has specific resistance value of 4000 .mu..OMEGA..multidot.cm or
less, where R is one or more kinds of elements selected from among C, O,
N, and x+y+z=100. With the structure thus arranged, the heat generating
members make it possible to maintain the change of resistance values
within a small amount even when used continuously for a long time, and
provide recorded images in high quality with long life and reliability.
Un substrato per uso di una testa di registrazione del getto di inchiostro è fornito di una pluralità di calore che genera i membri per la generazione dell'energia termica da utilizzare per scaricare l'inchiostro. Il calore che genera i membri è strutturato dalla pellicola sottile costituita da materiale rappresentato da Ta.sub.x Si.sub.y R.sub.z, che ha valore specifico di resistenza di mu..OMEGA..multidot.cm 4000 o di di meno, dove la R è uno o più generi di elementi scelti fra dalla C, dalla O, dalla N e da x+y+z=100. Con la struttura ha organizzato così, il calore che genera i membri permette di effettuare il cambiamento dei valori di resistenza all'interno di piccolo importo anche quando usato continuamente a lungo e fornisce le immagini registrate nell'alta qualità vita ed affidabilità lunghe.
