A process for the production of high molecular weight aliphatic
polycarbonates is disclosed. The process entails a first stage wherein a
low molecular weight aliphatic polycarbonate is prepared and a second
stage where the low molecular weight aliphatic polycarbonate is condensed
with diaryl carbonate in a melt transesterification process to form a high
molecular weight aliphatic polycarbonate. The resulting high molecular
weight aliphatic polycarbonate is suitable for the production of
extrudates, films and molded articles.
Ein Prozeß für die Produktion der aliphatischen Polycarbonate des hoch Molekulargewichts wird freigegeben. Der Prozeß hat ein erstes Stadium zur Folge, worin ein aliphatisches Polycarbonat des niedermolekularen Gewichts und ein zweites Stadium vorbereitet wird, in dem das aliphatische Polycarbonat des niedermolekularen Gewichts mit diaryl Karbonat in einem Schmelzumesterungprozeß kondensiert wird, um ein aliphatisches Polycarbonat des hoch Molekulargewichts zu bilden. Das resultierende aliphatische Polycarbonat des hoch Molekulargewichts ist für die Produktion der Extrudate, der Filme und der geformten Artikel verwendbar.
