The invention concerns novel 2-aminopyridine derivatives having an activity
inhibiting NO-synthase enzymes producing nitrogen monoxide NO and/or
trapping reactive forms of oxygen, the methods for preparing them,
pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their therapeutic uses,
particularly their use as NO-synthase inhibitors and for trapping reactive
forms of oxygen whether selectively or not.
