A method for making thermoplastic elastomeric compositions is disclosed
wherein a polyamide, a silicone base, a stabilizer, and optional
compatibilizer are first mixed, then a hydrosilation catalyst and
subsequently an organohydrido silicon compound are added, and the silicone
base is dynamically vulcanized.
