The present invention relates to a mutual prodrug of amlodipine and
atorvastatin, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof,
pharmaceutical compositions thereof and the use of said prodrug and its
salts in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of
atherosclerosis, angina pectoris, combined hypertension and
hyperlipidaemia and the management of cardiac risk.
