This invention relates to isolated polynucleotides encoding a wheat
glutathione transferase subunit (GST) as well as host cells and plants
transformed therewith. The invention also relates to methods of using the
isolated polynucleotides to make herbicide resistant plant cells and
plants, and to methods of selecting transformed plant cells in the
presence of an herbicide.
Questa invenzione riguarda i polynucleotides isolati che mettono un'unità secondaria in codice della transferasi del glutatione del frumento (GST) come pure le cellule ospiti e le piante trasformate di conseguenza. L'invenzione inoltre si riferisce ai metodi di usando i polynucleotides isolati per rendere a diserbante le cellule e le piante resistenti della pianta ed ai metodi di selezione delle cellule trasformate della pianta in presenza di un diserbante.
