An apparatus and method for detecting infrasonic cardiac apical impulses of
a patient including a sensor disposable in contact with skin of the
patient for producing a signal responsive to a motion of the skin at an
infrasonic cardiac apical impulse point of the patient. A first circuit
coupled to the first sensor for generating at least one audible output in
response to the first signal and indicative of the infrasonic cardiac
apical impulse. A dampening ring surrounding the sensor for dampening the
relative motion of the sensor with respect to movement of the patient.
Un aparato y un método para detectar impulsos apical cardiacos infrasónicos de un paciente incluyendo un sensor disponible en contacto con la piel del paciente para producir una señal responsiva a un movimiento de la piel en un punto apical cardiaco infrasónico del impulso del paciente. Un primer circuito juntado al primer sensor para generar por lo menos una salida audible en respuesta a la primera señal e indicative del impulso apical cardiaco infrasónico. Un anillo que humedece que rodea el sensor para humedecer el movimiento relativo del sensor con respecto al movimiento del paciente.
