A technique for analyzing affect in which ambiguity in both emotion and
natural language is explicitly represented and processed through fuzzy
logic. In particular, textual information is processed to i) isolate a
vocabulary of words belonging to an emotion, ii) represent the meaning of
each word belonging to that emotion using multiple categories and scalar
metrics, iii) compute profiles for text documents based on the categories
and scores of their component words, and iv) manipulate the profiles to
visualize the texts. The representation vehicle in the system is a set of
fuzzy semantic categories (affect categories) followed by their respective
centralities (degrees of relatedness between lexicon entries and their
various categories) and intensities (representative of the strength of the
affect level described by that word) called an affect set. A graphical
representation of the affect set can also be used as a tool for decision
making.
Uma técnica para analisar afeta em que ambigüidade na emoção e na língua natural explicitamente é representada e processada com a lógica fuzzy. Na informação particular, textual é processado i) ao isolate um vocabulário das palavras que pertencem a uma emoção, ii) representa o meaning de cada palavra que pertence a essa emoção usando categorias múltiplas e o metrics escalar, iii) perfis do cálculo para os originais do texto baseados nas categorias e contagens de suas palavras componentes, e iv) manipula os perfis para visualizar os textos. O veículo da respresentação no sistema é um jogo das categorias semânticas fuzzy (afete categorias) seguidas por seus centralities respectivos (graus de relatedness entre entradas do léxico e suas várias categorias) e por intensidades (representante da força do nível afetar descrito por essa palavra) chamadas um jogo afetar. Uma respresentação gráfica do jogo afetar pode também ser usada como uma ferramenta para fazer de decisão.
