Requiring no special ability, this exercise devise can be used by anyone
for simulating walking, while sitting down. Consisting of two pedals that
move in opposition to one another as one foot presses down, while the
other is pushed up, the device is placed under your feet while sitting in
a chair. By turning clockwise a resistance dial located on a stem,
resistance is adjustable by the user. A straight metal axle at the rear of
the device serves as an axis about which two pedals rotate and furnishes
support through the attached feet. Mechanism of resistance is provided by
opposition against two arc shaped wedges offset by an angle resulting in
one pedal rising as the other falls. Each end of a curved axle in the
front provides support. The straight axle in the back is connected to the
curved axle in the front by a central housing on top of which is
positioned the resistance dial.
Keine spezielle Fähigkeit erfordernd, kann dieses Übung Vermächtnis durch jedermann für das Simulieren des Gehens benutzt werden, beim hinsitzen. Bestehend aus zwei Pedalen, die in Opposition bis eine andere bewegen, während ein Fuß sich unten betätigt, während der andere hochgedrückt wird, wird die Vorrichtung unter Ihre Füße beim Sitzen in einen Stuhl gelegt. Indem er nach rechts einen Widerstand Vorwahlknopf dreht, der auf einem Stamm gelegen ist, ist Widerstand durch den Benutzer justierbar. Eine gerade Metallwelle an der Rückseite der Vorrichtung dient als Mittellinie, über die zwei Pedale sich drehen und versorgt Unterstützung durch die angebrachten Füße. Einheit des Widerstandes wird von der Opposition gegen zwei Bogen geformte Keile zur Verfügung gestellt, die durch einen Winkel versetzt werden, habend zur Folge, daß ein Pedal als die anderen Fälle steigt. Jedes Ende einer gebogenen Welle in der Frontseite gibt Unterstützung. Die gerade Welle in der Rückseite wird an die gebogene Welle in der Frontseite durch ein zentrales Gehäuse angeschlossen, auf das wird dem Widerstand Vorwahlknopf in Position gebracht.
