A process for forming cement clinker using mill scale that may have
hydrocarbons associated therewith. Normal feedstock material is preheated
and then transferred to a combustion area. The mill scale is also
transferred to the combustion area where, during the process of burning a
material, the unwanted hydrocarbons are volatilized and converted to
harmless gaseous products (by combustion) that can be passed to the
atmosphere. The combustion area may be a precalciner or may be the feed
end of the rotary kiln if the rotary kiln has an adequate temperature
profile. The remaining mill scale and feedstock material are thoroughly
mixed and blended and the mill scale is diffused and combined with the
feedstock material as the mill scale and the feedstock material move from
the feed end toward the heat-source end of the rotary kiln to form cement
clinker.
Un processo per formare il clinker del cemento usando la scaglia di laminazione che può avere idrocarburi associati di conseguenza. Il materiale normale del materiale di base è preriscaldato ed allora è trasferito ad una zona di combustione. La scaglia di laminazione inoltre è trasferita alla zona di combustione dove, durante il processo di bruciare un materiale, gli idrocarburi indesiderabili sono volatilizzati e convertiti in prodotti gassosi inoffensivi (da combustione) che possono essere passati all'atmosfera. La zona di combustione può essere un precalciner o può essere l'estremità dell'alimentazione del forno rotante se il forno rotante ha un profilo termico sufficiente. Il materiale restante della scaglia di laminazione e del materiale di base è mescolato completamente e mescolato e la scaglia di laminazione è diffusa ed unita con il materiale del materiale di base mentre la scaglia di laminazione ed il movimento materiale del materiale di base dall'alimentazione si concludono verso l'estremità di calore-fonte del forno rotante per formare il clinker del cemento.
