The present invention relates to a process for the production of
polyhydroxyoctanoate, said method involving construction of a
multifunctional Escherichia coli--Streptomyces conjugative shuttle vector,
development of a recombinant vector designated as pCAB218, which is used
to transform Streptomyces lividans TK64, such that it is capable of
producing polyhydroxyoctanoate (PHO) in substantial amounts when grown in
a conventional mineral medium.
Die anwesende Erfindung bezieht auf einem Prozeß für die Produktion von polyhydroxyoctanoate, die besagte Methode, die Aufbau von einer Multifunktionsescherichia Coli -- conjugative Doppelventilkegelvektor der Streptomyces, Entwicklung eines recombinant Vektors mit einbezieht, der als pCAB218 gekennzeichnet wird, das verwendet wird, um Streptomyces lividans TK64 umzuwandeln, so, daß sie zum Produzieren von von polyhydroxyoctanoate (PHO) in den erheblichen Mengen fähig ist, wenn sie in einem herkömmlichen Mineralmittel gewachsen wird.
