A flat-shaped nonaqueous electrolyte battery including a sealing plate, a
metal container, a gasket interposed between the sealing plate and the
metal container, and a negative electrode, a positive electrode and a
nonaqueous electrolyte that are sealed by pressing inward an edge portion
of an opening of the metal container, the sealing plate also serves as a
positive electrode terminal, the metal container also serves as a negative
electrode terminal, and a peripheral portion of the negative electrode is
arranged between an inner bottom surface of the metal container and the
gasket is disclosed. It is preferable that a lithium alloy or an oxide of
an element that can be alloyed with lithium is used for the negative
electrode, and it is preferable that a ratio of a capacity of the negative
electrode with respect to that of the positive electrode is at least 1.2.
Eine flache nichtwässerige Elektrolytbatterie einschließlich eine Dichtung Platte, ein Metallbehälter, eine Dichtung, die zwischen der Dichtung Platte und dem Metallbehälter und eine negative Elektrode, eine positive Elektrode und ein nichtwässeriger Elektrolyt vermittelt wird, die versiegelt werden, indem man Inneren ein Randteil einer Öffnung des Metallbehälters betätigt, die Dichtung Platte dient auch als positiver Elektrode Anschluß, dient der Metallbehälter auch als negativer Elektrode Anschluß, und ein Zusatzteil der negativen Elektrode wird zwischen einer inneren Grundfläche des Metallbehälters geordnet und die Dichtung wird freigegeben. Es ist vorzuziehend, daß eine Lithiumlegierung oder ein Oxid eines Elements, das mit Lithium legiert werden kann, für die negative Elektrode benutzt wird, und es ist vorzuziehend, daß ein Verhältnis einer Kapazität der negativen Elektrode in Bezug auf die der positiven Elektrode 1.2 mindestens ist.
