Lettuce varieties PSR 4569 and PSR 4570 having both iceberg and romaine lettuce characteristics and methods of making and using

The present invention relates to an iceberg lettuce having one or more romaine lettuce characteristics. The invention further relates to methods for producing iceberg lettuce varieties containing one or more romaine lettuce characteristics, represented by lettuce variety `PSR4569` and by lettuce variety `PSR4570`. These lettuce varieties were produced by crossing lettuce variety `salinas88` with lettuce variety `PI206964`.
