The anti-counterfeit method of the invention conceals an authentication pattern in a retarder by means of specific treatments that achieve different phase retardation on the retarder. To authenticate the authentication pattern, the invention provides an identification system that can produce and filter polarized light projected through the retarder to display the authentication pattern. To improve protection against counterfeits, the invention further conceals the authentication pattern in a plurality of retarders that must be assembled with one another to display the authentication pattern. One retarder carrying a part of the authentication pattern and the polarizer can be therefore incorporated within the identification system to achieve a more effective anti-counterfeit effect.

Il metodo della anti-falsificazione dell'invenzione cela un modello di autenticazione in un ritardatore per mezzo di trattamenti specifici che realizzano il ritardo differente di fase sul ritardatore. Per autenticare il modello di autenticazione, l'invenzione fornisce un sistema dell'identificazione che può produrre e filtrare la luce polarizzata proiettata attraverso il ritardatore per visualizzare il modello di autenticazione. Per migliorare la protezione contro le falsificazioni, l'invenzione ulteriore cela il modello di autenticazione in una pluralità di ritardatori che devono essere montati tra loro ad esposizione il modello di autenticazione. Un ritardatore che trasporta una parte del modello di autenticazione e del polarizzatore può quindi essere incorporato all'interno del sistema dell'identificazione per realizzare un effetto più efficace della anti-falsificazione.
