The invention relates to novel N-(substituted phenyl)-N'-[.omega.-(3-substituted phenyl-4-isoxazolecarbonylamino)alkyl]piperazines, their N-oxides, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are endowed with enhanced selectivity for alpha1-adrenergic receptors and a low activity in lowering blood pressure. The compounds are useful in the treatment of obstructive syndromes of the lower urinary tract, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD), and other conditions. The compounds may be administered alone or in combination with an anticholinergic compound.

Die Erfindung bezieht auf Roman N-(substituted phenyl)-N'-[.omega.-(3-substituted phenyl-4-isoxazolecarbonylamino)alkyl]piperazines, ihre N-Oxide und pharmazeutisch annehmbare Salze davon. Die Mittel werden mit erhöhter Selektivität für alpha1-adrenergic Empfänger und einer niedrigen Tätigkeit ausgestattet, wenn man Blutdruck senkt. Die Mittel sind in der Behandlung der hemmenden Syndrome der untereren urinausscheidenden Fläche, einschließlich gutartigen prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) und in der Behandlung der niedrigeren urinausscheidende Fläche Symptome (LUTS) und der neurogenen niedrigeren urinausscheidende Fläche Funktionsstörung (NLUTD) und anderer Bedingungen nützlich. Die Mittel können einem anticholinergischen Mittel alleine oder im Verbindung mit ausgeübt werden.
