A method of forming a virtual three-dimensional radar display on a radar page comprising the steps of (i) establishing a split window display showing a 2-dimensional view of altitude representation of own ship and target's information; and (ii) combining range and azimuth information onto the radar page, thereby the radar page provides the pilot of an aircraft with a three-dimensional perspective of the own ship and targets' profile. The three-dimensional perspective of the own ship and targets information greatly enhances the situation awareness of the pilot.

Une méthode de former un affichage tridimensionnel virtuel de radar à une page de radar comportant les étapes (i) établissant d'une vitrine fendue montrant une vue à deux dimensions de représentation d'altitude de propre information de bateau et de cible ; et (ii) combinant l'information de gamme et d'azimut sur la page de radar, la page de radar fournit de ce fait au pilote d'un avion une perspective tridimensionnelle du propre profil de bateau et de cibles. La perspective tridimensionnelle de propre information de bateau et de cibles augmente considérablement la conscience de situation du pilote.
