Compositions having an effect of promoting gastric emptying. These compositions comprise a lipase which was found to have an effect of promoting gastric emptying together with lipase activity-free ingredient(s) acting on the digestive tracts such as a prokinetic, a histamine H.sub.2 receptor antagonist, a proton pump inhibitor and/or a stomachic ingredient. They are efficaciously employed as medicaments for ameliorating or treating chronic gastrointestinal symptoms such as sinking feelings, heartburn and heaviness in the stomach, i.e., complaints about the digestive tracts.

Ces compositions comportent une lipase qui s'est avérée pour avoir un effet de favoriser vider gastrique ainsi que l'ingredient(s) activité-libre de lipase agissant sur les régions digestives telles qu'un prokinetic, un antagoniste de récepteur de l'histamine H.sub.2, un inhibiteur de pompe de proton et/ou un ingrédient stomachic. Elles sont efficace utilisées comme médicaments pour améliorer ou traiter des symptômes gastro-intestinaux chroniques tels que des sentiments de descente, brûlure d'estomac et poids dans l'estomac, c.-à-d., plaintes au sujet des régions digestives.
