The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous odor-absorbing and wrinkle controlling composition, preferably for use on inanimate surfaces, especially fabrics. The composition comprises from about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin and an effective amount of at least one ingredient to improve the performance of the composition selected from the group consisting of: (1) cyclodextrin compatible surfactant; (2) cyclodextrin compatible antimicrobial active; and (3) mixtures thereof. The composition also comprises a wrinkle control agent which is fabric lubricant, shape retention polymer, hydrophilic plasticizer, lithium salt, or mixtures thereof. Hydrophilic perfume improves acceptance. Optionally, the composition can contain low molecular weight polyols; metallic salts to help control odor; a humectant, etc. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied as small particle size droplets, especially from spray containers. The cyclodextrin/surfactant combination, either alone, or in combination with the other ingredients, provides improved antimicrobial activity.

De onderhavige uitvinding heeft op stabiel betrekking, waterig geur-absorberende en rimpel controlerende samenstelling, bij voorkeur voor gebruik op levenloze oppervlakten, vooral stoffen. De samenstelling bestaat uit van ongeveer 0,1% aan ongeveer 20%, bij het gewicht van de in water oplosbare samenstelling, van oplosbaar gemaakt, uncomplexed cyclodextrien en een efficiënte hoeveelheid minstens één ingrediënt om de prestaties van de samenstelling te verbeteren die uit de groep wordt geselecteerd die bestaat uit: (1) cyclodextrien compatibele capillair-actieve stof; (2) cyclodextrien compatibele antimicrobial actief; en (3) mengsels daarvan. De samenstelling bestaat ook uit een agent van de rimpelcontrole die stoffensmeermiddel, het polymeer van het vormbehoud, hydrofiel plastificeermiddel, lithiumzout, of daarvan mengsels is. Het hydrofiele parfum verbetert goedkeuring. Naar keuze, kan de samenstelling lage moleculegewichtpolyols bevatten; metaal zouten om controlegeur te helpen; een bevochtiger, enz. De samenstelling is hoofdzakelijk vrij van om het even welk materiaal dat stof zou zou bevuilen of bevlekken. De samenstelling wordt bij voorkeur aangebracht als druppeltjes van de klein deeltjesgrootte, vooral van nevelcontainers. De cyclodextrien/capillair-actieve stofcombinatie, of alleen, of in combinatie met de andere ingrediënten, verstrekt betere antimicrobial activiteit.
