A security system for electronic circuits (e.g. electronic circuits contained within a secure POS terminal) is provided that is both more tamper resistant, and tamper responsive and less expensive than the prior art epoxy potting. This is achieved by inserting an electrical connector between a first and a second circuit board contained within a case of the POS terminal. The first and the second circuit boards are any type of circuit board known in the art, including both not limited to, rigid circuit boards, flexible circuit boards, printed circuit boards, etc. If the case is opened the connector no longer provides an electrical connection between the first and the second circuit boards, triggering a tamper detection circuit. In some embodiments of the invention, a flexible conductive film is wrapped around the circuit boards and the connector. If a tamperer attempts to penetrate the case of the POS terminal to disable the tamper detection circuit, the circuit on the flexible security film is interrupted, in turn triggering the tamper detection circuit.

Een veiligheidssysteem voor elektronische kringen (b.v. elektronische kringen bevat binnen een veilige POS terminal) wordt verstrekt dat zowel meer bestand stamper is, als stamper ontvankelijk en minder duur dan vroegere kunst epoxypotting. Dit wordt bereikt door een elektroschakelaar tussen eerste en een tweede kringsraad op te nemen bevat binnen een geval van de POS terminal. De eerste en tweede kringsraad is om het even welk type van kringsraad dat in de kunst, met inbegrip van allebei wordt gekend beperkt niet tot, stijve kringsraad, flexibele kringsraad, gedrukte kringsraad, enz. Als het geval wordt geopend verstrekt de schakelaar niet meer een elektroverbinding tussen de eerste en de tweede kringsraad, die een kring van de stamperopsporing teweegbrengen. In sommige belichamingen van de uitvinding, is een flexibele geleidende film verpakt rond de kringsraad en de schakelaar. Als een tamperer probeert om het geval van de POS terminal te doordringen om de kring van de stamperopsporing onbruikbaar te maken, wordt de kring op de flexibele veiligheidsfilm onderbroken, beurtelings teweegbrengend de kring van de stamperopsporing.
