The present invention is a toy wand that is activated and controlled by a sequence of motions of the wand while in the hand of an operator. When moved through a specific sequence of motions (herein termed a "spell", the wand will produce an appealing display of lights whose purpose is to amuse or entertain the wand operator or others in the viewing area.
