The present invention relates to novel 6-methylnicotinamide derivatives and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, the process for preparing them, and the pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds as active ingredients. The 6-methylnicotinamide derivatives of the present invention exhibit their inhibitory activity against the proliferation of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) as well as hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV), such that they can be used for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Die anwesende Erfindung bezieht auf Ableitungen des Romans 6-methylnicotinamide und ihre pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Salze, der Prozeß für das Vorbereiten sie und der pharmazeutische Aufbau, der besagte Mittel als Aktivsubstanzen enthält. Die Ableitungen 6-methylnicotinamide der anwesenden Erfindung stellen ihre hemmende Tätigkeit gegen die starke Verbreitung des menschlichen Immunodeficiencyvirus (HIV) sowie Virus der Hepatitis B (HBV) und Virus der Hepatitis C (HCV), so aus, daß sie für Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C und erworbenes immunes Mangelsyndrom (AIDS) benutzt werden können.
