An antibacterial liquid dish cleaning composition with desirable cleansing properties comprising a C.sub.8-18 ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfate, two anionic surfactant, a betaine surfactant, a citric or lactic acid, at least one polyethylene glycol, an antibacterial agent and water.
