A cosmetic composition having improved transfer resistance comprising: a) from about 0.1-60% by weight of trimethylated silica, b) from about 0.1-60% by weight of a volatile solvent having a viscosity of 0.5 to 100 centipoise at 25.degree. C., c) 0.1-60% by weight of a nonvolatile oil having a viscosity of 200 to 1,000,000 centipoise at 25.degree. C. d) 0.1-80% of a cosmetically acceptable carrier.

Een kosmetische samenstelling die overdrachtweerstand heeft verbeterd die bestaat uit: a) vanaf ongeveer 0,1-60% bij het gewicht van trimethylated kiezelzuur, b) vanaf ongeveer 0,1-60% bij het gewicht van een vluchtig oplosmiddel dat een viscositeit van 0,5 heeft tot 100 centipoise bij 25.degree. C., c) 0,1-60% bij het gewicht van een niet-vluchtige olie die een viscositeit van 200 heeft tot 1.000.000 centipoise bij 25.degree. C. d) 0,1-80% van een cosmetically aanvaardbare drager.
