Automatic filmer capable of centering the cassette with respect to an x-ray window and measuring the width and length thereof. Oppositely disposed channels are used to center the cassette about a first center line and measure the width thereof. A gripper assembly is used to draw the cassette into the housing and determine the length of the cassette. A carriage assembly moves the cassette within the housing so as to expose the cassette to x-rays within the x-ray window.

Automatische filmer geschikt om de cassette met betrekking tot een x-ray venster te centreren en de breedte en de lengte daarvan te meten. Worden de tegengesteld geschikte kanalen gebruikt om de cassette over een eerste middellijn te centreren en de breedte daarvan te meten. Een tangassemblage wordt gebruikt om de cassette te trekken in de huisvesting en de lengte van de cassette te bepalen. Een vervoerassemblage beweegt de cassette binnen de huisvesting om de cassette aan röntgenstralen binnen het x-ray venster bloot te stellen.
