A compressed coil spring is mounted between a flange of the communicating pipe and a flange of the valve body. Communication holes are formed in a cylindrical portion of the valve body. When the valve body receives the pressure of the exhaust gases at a pressure receiving surface and moves along the axial direction against the biasing force of the spring, the exhaust gases within the communicating pipe flow out of the communication holes to the outside of the valve body.
