Infrared radiation-sensitive compounds have been found that are represented by Structure DYE as follows: ##STR1## wherein R is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, or substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic aromatic group, R.sub.1 and R.sub.1 are independently substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic or carbocyclic aromatic groups, and M.sup.+ is a monovalent cation. These compounds have a .lambda..sub.max above 700 nm and are can be used in a number of photosensitive or heat-sensitive imaging materials.

Ультракрасные радиационночувствительные смеси были найдены представлены Структурой КРАСИТЬ следующим образом: ## ## STR1 при котором р будет группы замененной или unsubstituted cycloalkyl группы замененной или unsubstituted алкиловой группы, замененной или unsubstituted гетероциклической, или замененной или unsubstituted карбоциклической ароматичной группы, R.sub.1 и R.sub.1 независимо замените или unsubstituted гетероциклические или карбоциклические ароматичные группы, и M.sup.+ будет моновалентным катионом. Эти смеси имеют lambda..sub.max над 700 nm и можно использовать в нескольких фоточувствительных или теплочувствительных материалах воображения.
