The present invention relates to blocked polyisocyanates which are the reaction product of polyisocyanate resins prepared from HDI and containing iminooxadiazinedione groups in an amount of at least 20 mol %, based on the total moles of iminooxadiazinedione and isocyanurate groups, with alcohols of formula (I) ROH (I), wherein R represents aliphatic, straight chain or branched, optionally cyclic, optionally substituted (O--R.sup.1, NR.sup.1.sub.2), C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 radicals, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 radicals, and R.sup.1 has the same meaning as R. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of blocked polyisocyanates and to their use for the preparation of polyurethane plastics and coatings, preferably for coating substrates.

A invenção atual relaciona-se aos polyisocyanates obstruídos que são o produto da reação das resinas do polyisocyanate preparadas de HDI e de conter grupos do iminooxadiazinedione em uma quantidade ao menos de 20 mol de %, baseada nas toupeiras totais de grupos do iminooxadiazinedione e do isocyanurate, com álcoois da fórmula (I) ROH (i), wherein R representa a corrente aliphatic, reta ou ramificado, opcionalmente cíclico, substituído opcionalmente (O -- R.sup.1, NR.sup.1.sub.2), C.sub.1 - C.sub.6 os radicais, preferivelmente C.sub.1 - os radicais C.sub.4, e R.sup.1 têm o mesmo meaning que R. A invenção atual relaciona-se também a um processo para a preparação de polyisocyanates obstruídos e a seu uso para a preparação de plásticos e de revestimentos do poliuretano, preferivelmente para carcaças revestindo.
