Described is a single phase aqueous surfactant-free nontoxic air freshening composition containing 30-70% water, 5-20% of a fragrance, at least 60% of the components of which has a C log.sub.10 P.ltoreq.2.5 and 30-60 weight percent of a mixture of two glycol ether components: (i) dipropylene glycol methyl ether; and (ii) propylene glycol propyl ether or propylene glycol butyl ether. Also described is an air freshener device comprising a vessel for the aforementioned composition, an emanating surface and a wick for supplying the composition to the emanating surface. In another embodiment of the invention is a stain removal wipe, which contains a fragrant aqueous system with low solvent and substantially free of surfactant.

Ein beschrieben freshening Aufbau der wäßrigen Tensid-freien ungiftigen Luft des einphasigen, der 30-70% Wasser, 5-20% eines Dufts enthält, 60% mindestens dessen Bestandteile ein C log.sub.10 P.ltoreq.2.5 und die Prozente mit 30-60 Gewichten einer Mischung von zwei Glykolätherbestandteilen hat: (i) dipropylene Glykol-Methyl Äther; und (ii) Propyl- Äther des Propylenglykols oder Propylenglykolbutyläther. Auch beschrieben eine Lufterfrischungsmittelvorrichtung, die einen Behälter für den vorher erwähnten Aufbau, eine ausströmende Oberfläche und einen Ölerfilz für das Liefern des Aufbaus an die ausströmende Oberfläche enthält. In einer anderen Verkörperung der Erfindung ist ein Fleckenentfernungabwischen, das ein wohlriechendes wäßriges System mit niedrigem Lösungsmittel enthält und im wesentlichen vom Tensid freigibt.
