An amusement toy including a head having at least a partial facial image, and an elastically deformable mouth associated with the head. The mouth has an undeformed dimension in the absence of a deforming force and is capable of deforming such that a deformed dimension of the mouth is at least 20% greater than the undeformed dimension of the mouth. The deformation of the mouth of the toy alters the facial image presented by the head, making a "scary face." The removal of the force causes the mouth to return to substantially its undeformed dimension. A body of the amusement toy is preferably attached to the head such that the center of gravity of the toy is below the elastically deformable mouth. A method for providing amusement includes the steps of providing a head, applying a force to a mouth associated with the head to deform the mouth from an undeformed width to a deformed width that is at least 20% greater than the undeformed width, and subsequently removing the force from the mouth, such that the mouth returns to substantially the undeformed width. The deformation of the mouth alters the facial image of the amusement toy to make a "scary face."

Ein Unterhaltung Spielzeug einschließlich einen Kopf, der mindestens ein teilweises Gesichtsbild hat, und eine elastisch deformable Öffnung verbanden mit dem Kopf. Die Öffnung hat undeformed Maß in Ermangelung einer verformenden Kraft und ist fähig zum Verformen so, daß ein verformtes Maß der Öffnung 20% mindestens ist, das grösser ist, als undeformed Maß der Öffnung. Die Deformation der Öffnung des Spielzeugs ändert das Gesichtsbild, das durch den Kopf dargestellt wird und bildet ein "furchtsames Gesicht." Der Abbau der Kraft veranläßt die Öffnung, zu seinem im wesentlichen zurückzugehen undeformed Maß. Ein Körper des Unterhaltung Spielzeugs wird vorzugsweise zum Kopf so angebracht, daß der Schwerpunkt des Spielzeugs unter der elastisch deformable Öffnung ist. Eine Methode für das Zur Verfügung stellen von von Unterhaltung schließt die Schritte des Zur Verfügung stellens eines Kopfes ein, undeformed das Aufwenden einer Kraft an einer Öffnung, die mit dem Kopf verbunden ist, um die Öffnung von zu verformen, Breite zu einer verformten Breite, die 20% mindestens ist, die grösser sind, als Breite undeformed, und die Kraft von der Öffnung, so nachher zu entfernen, daß die Öffnung Rückkehr zu im wesentlichen Breite undeformed. Die Deformation der Öffnung ändert das Gesichtsbild des Unterhaltung Spielzeugs, um ein "furchtsames Gesicht zu bilden."
