Carbon dioxide is recovered from a feed stream whose pressure is up to 30 psia by preferentially absorbing carbon dioxide from said feed stream into a liquid absorbent fluid, pressurizing and heating the resulting stream to a pressure sufficient to enable the stream to reach the top of the stripper at a pressure of 35 psia or greater, and stripping carbon dioxide from said stream in a stripper operating at a pressure of 35 psia or greater and recovering from said stripper a gaseous carbon dioxide product stream having a pressure of 35 psia or greater.

Kohlendioxyd wird Kohlendioxyd von der Zufuhr des Stromes dessen Druck bis 30 ist psia, indem er vorzugsweise Kohlendioxyd von besagtem Zufuhrstrom in eine flüssige saugfähige Flüssigkeit aufsaugt und den resultierenden Strom zu einem unter Druck setzt und heizt Druck, der genügend ist, dem Strom zu ermöglichen, die Oberseite der Arbeitswalze mit einem Druck von 35 psia zu erreichen oder grösser, und des Abstreifens von besagtem Strom in einer Arbeitswalze erholt, die mit einem Druck von 35 psia funktioniert oder und von besagter Arbeitswalze einen gasförmigen Kohlendioxyd-Produktstrom erholend grösser, der einen Druck von 35 psia oder grösser hat.
