In the method of temporarily coloring and later decoloring hair a hair
colorant is applied and allowed to remain on the hair for an exposure time
of 10 to 45 minutes at 20 to 50.degree. C. and then rinsed out. Then at a
later time, as desired, the hair is decolorized. The aqueous hair colorant
contains 0.01 to 5 percent by weight of at least one dye compound of
formula (IV), or a physiologically tolerated salt thereof;

wherein n=0, 1 or 2 and R1 represents a C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkyl group,
a hydroxyethyl group, a dihydroxypropyl group, a methoxyethyl group, a
carboxyethyl group, a C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -sulfoalkyl group, an
unsubstituted or substituted phenyl radical with halogen, sulfonic or
carboxylic acid substituents; R2 represents a hydrogen, a methyl group, a
carboxylic acid group, a carboxylic acid group esterified with a C.sub.1 -
to C.sub.4 -alcohol or a carboxamido group; and Y represents an aromatic
five-membered heterocyclic ring, which may or may not be benzoanellated.
Dans la méthode temporairement de couleur et de cheveux decoloring postérieurs un colorant de cheveux est appliqué et permis de rester sur les cheveux pendant un temps d'exposition de 10 à 45 minutes à 20 à 50.degree. C. et alors rincé dehors. Alors à un temps postérieur, comme désiré, les cheveux sont décolorés. Le colorant aqueux de cheveux contient 0.01 à 5 pour cent en poids au moins d'un composé de colorant de formule (iv), ou un sel physiologiquement toléré en ; ## du ## STR1 où n=0, 1 ou 2 et R1 représente un C.sub.1 - à C.sub.4 - groupe alcoyle, un groupe hydroxyéthylique, un groupe de dihydroxypropyl, un groupe de methoxyethyl, un groupe de carboxyethyl, un C.sub.1 - à C.sub.4 - groupe de sulfoalkyl, un radical phénylique non substitué ou substitué avec des substituants d'acide d'halogène, sulfonique ou carboxylique ; R2 représente un hydrogène, un groupe méthylique, un groupe d'acide carboxylique, un groupe d'acide carboxylique estérifié avec un C.sub.1 - à C.sub.4 - alcool ou un groupe de carboxamido ; et Y représente un aromatique five-membered l'anneau hétérocyclique, qui peut ou peut ne pas être benzoanellated.
