This invention is directed to poly-hydroxylated monocyclic N-heterocyclic derivatives selected from the following formula: ##STR1## wherein Z.sup.1, Z.sup.2, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, and R.sup.7 are defined herein. These compounds are useful as anti-coagulants.

Deze uitvinding wordt aan poly-hydroxylated monocyclic n-Heterocyclische derivaten geleid die uit de volgende formule worden geselecteerd: ## STR1 ## waarin Z.sup.1, Z.sup.2, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, en R.sup.7 hierin worden bepaald. Deze samenstellingen zijn nuttig als antistollingsmiddelen.
