A photothermographic material is disclosed, comprising a support having on one side of the support a light-sensitive layer containing a light-sensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder, and at least one protective layer, wherein the light-sensitive layer has a silver content of 0.10 to 0.45 g/cm.sup.3 and a dry thickness of 1 to 10 .mu.m, and a total dry protective layer thickness being 3 to 20 .mu.m.

Un matériel photothermographic est révélé, comportant un appui ayant d'un côté de l'appui par couche sensible à la lumière contenant un halogénure d'argent sensible à la lumière, un sel argenté organique, un agent réducteur et une reliure, et au moins une couche protectrice, où la couche sensible à la lumière a une teneur argentée de 0.10 à 0.45 g/cm.sup.3 et d'une épaisseur sèche du mu.m 1 à 10, et une épaisseur protectrice sèche totale de couche étant le mu.m de 3 à 20.
