A rinse-off liquid personal cleansing composition comprises water, from about 1% to about 60% by weight of a watersoluble surfactant, and a water-insoluble oil corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, R.sup.4 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, R.sup.2 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, and R.sup.3 is C.sub.5 -C.sub.20 alkyl, n is an integer from 0 to 3, and m is an integer from 1 to 1000, and having a number average molecular weight of from about 1,000 to about 25,000. The personal cleansing compositions of the invention provide excellent rinse feel and are exceptionally mild to the skin.
