Disclosed is a hair conditioning composition comprising. (1) a high molecular weight ester oil being water-insoluble, having a molecular weight of at least about 800, and in liquid form at 25.degree. C., the high molecular weight ester oil selected from the group consisting of: a) pentaerythritol ester oils, b) trimethylol ester oils, and mixtures thereof; (2) a hydrophilically substituted cationic surfactant; (3) a high melting point compound having a melting point of at least 25.degree. C.; and (4) an aqueous carrier.

Onthuld haar het conditionerende samenstelling wordt bestaan uit. (1) een hoge olie die van de moleculegewichtester niet in water oplosbaar, hebbend een moleculegewicht minstens ongeveer 800, en in vloeibare vorm bij 25.degree. C., de hoge olie van de moleculegewichtester die uit de groep wordt geselecteerd is die bestaat uit: a) de oliën van de pentaerythritolester, b) de oliën van de trimethylolester, en mengsels daarvan; (2) een hydrophilically gesubstitueerde capillair-actieve stof van kationen; (3) een hoge smeltpuntsamenstelling die een smeltpunt van minstens 25.degree. C. heeft; en (4) een waterige drager.
