Display source memories of resolutions according to image formats are prepared. The image format is discriminated from an extracted video packet. A font or a bit map is read out from the display source memory corresponding to the image format. The font or bit map corresponding to the image format is developed in an OSD plane memory and synthesized to a video signal by a mixing circuit. Thus, a character or a bit map picture plane of similar quality and size can be always seen irrespective of the received image format.

Anzeige Quellgedächtnisse von Auflösungen entsprechend Bildformaten werden vorbereitet. Das Bildformat wird von einem extrahierten videopaket abgesondert. Ein Schriftkegel oder eine Bit-Mappe wird vom Anzeige Quellgedächtnis ausgelesen, das dem Bildformat entspricht. Der Schriftkegel oder die Bit-Mappe, die dem Bildformat entsprechen, wird in einem OSD flachen Gedächtnis entwickelt und synthetisiert zu einem Videosignal durch einen mischenden Stromkreis. So können ein Buchstabe oder eine Bit-Mappe Abbildung Fläche der ähnlichen Qualität und der Größe ungeachtet des empfangenen Bildformats immer gesehen werden.
